DAAAM is not a RAW editor. It has no develop module, no tethered capture, no retouching, and no print pipeline. If you edit in Lightroom or Capture One, keep editing there. DAAAM is the layer those tools never had: a catalogue that has actually looked at every frame, so you can find an image by describing it instead of remembering which folder you put it in.
The difference most photographers notice first is what happens to their archive. A Lightroom catalogue knows your keywords, your ratings, and your capture dates, which means it can only find what you already took the time to label. DAAAM reads every RAW file, HEIC, JPEG, and video frame on import and writes its own description of the light, the subject, the framing, and the mood. Ten years of folders called DSC_4872 and 2019-holiday become searchable without you tagging a single one of them. It runs on your own Apple Silicon, so a 400 GB archive never touches anyone's server, and there is no monthly bill attached to keeping it searchable.
